Executive Director & Founder
Wazeera Shekoni
Hi! I’m Wazeera, a first-year student at the University of Illinois Chicago double-majoring in Economics and French & Francophone Studies on the Pre-Law track. I'm also hoping to minor in International Studies! In particular, I'm interested in corporate and international law. I’m a part of the Undergraduate Student Government at UIC and hoping to join Pre-Law Society as well! I love reading and going on walks. An interesting fact about me is that I try to read at least 25 books in a year!

Anukta Ashok
Hi! I'm a high school senior from Texas. Outside of school, I enjoy reading, drawing, and finding creative ways to explore economics and finance in everyday life.
Raymond Chen
I am a Junior in the IB program at Palm Harbor University High School passionate about economics, finance, and business, serving as VP of Finance for our DECA Chapter and treasurer and Cisco Packet Tracer captain for our CyberPatriot chapter. One of my favorite hobbies is competing in Public Forum Debate on the Local, State, and National level. Beyond school, I love to learn about financial markets, macroeconomic theory, and AI, applying these insights in competitions and practical projects. I serve as National Co-Captain for EconUnited and Curriculum Director for the Economic Literacy Initiative, where I lead efforts to teach students worldwide about economics, finance, and business.

Hi I'm Stella! I'm a senior in high school in Connecticut and I love baking, Model UN, and finance. I also run track and do DECA!
Workshop Directors
Jasmine Ameh
Hi, I’m Jasmine Ameh, and I’m excited to be one of the Workshop Directors for EconUnited! I’m involved in a variety community councils for philanthropy, advocacy, and research, and I am the VP of FBLA and am a part of a variety of other clubs. I’m a track athlete also! In the future, I hope to become the CEO of a multimedia conglomerate and gain education in finance, marketing, and film.
Anushka Pallakke
Hi! I'm Anushka Pallakke, a junior at Evergreen Valley High School and one of the workshop managers for Econ United. Some of my extracurriculars include parliamentary debate and swimming. Outside of those, I enjoy biking, binge-watching k/cdramas, skiing, eating chocolate, and spending time with my friends and family.

Hi, My name is Yugesh Pantra. I am in 11th grade, and I am interested in the business field, In school I participate in my school's robotics team and business competitions. Outside I like to play sports, and hangout with my friends and family.

Hi! My name is Elisa and I'm from Illinois. My favorite subjects in school include math, economics, and history. Outside of school I’m a big fan of baking, especially chocolate chip cookies, and I’m a decent to crocheter.
Mateo Gutierrez
I’m Mateo Gutierrez from Southlake, Texas (Dallas area), a high school senior passionate about finance, economics, and community leadership. I founded my school’s Recycling Club, serve as Social Media Director for EconUnited, and manage outreach for Latinos in Grapevine. Outside of academics, I enjoy playing soccer, weightlifting, and working on creative projects that blend business with social impact.

Hi! I’m Sofia. I am one of the social media directors for EconUnited. I love advertising for brands because it allows me to learn more about business while also being in touch with my creative side. Besides EconUnited, I love theatre, participate in Girl Scouts, and I also intern for iRealty and BigFuture.
